Now you see it ... Now you don't.....

I just finished a disappearing nine path lap quilt and was very happy with the results.  It was fun and easy to make and Jillian loved it!

I had Dan quilt it for me; it's gorgeous!  The pictures don't due it justice.  The body of the quilt is an all over pattern with 'flowing' musical notes and the border is treble clefs.  This may be difficult to see with my picture taking abilities using a phone.

The quilt is done in blacks and whites with a purple batik.

Siggy Blocks

Thank you for the wonderful siggy blocks and notes.  I enjoyed reading about the stitchers and their siggies are BEAUTIFUL!  I can't wait to start making a quilt.

I'm now caught up with making and mailing  my siggies, if you are waiting for one it should be there within the week.  I had a little problem with the fox siggy I made so I've put that hold until I can find the right color that won't bleed.  I replaced 4 out of 5 of the fox siggies I made, if you have the 5th let me know (I may have it here at home but I'm not sure)

THANK YOU!!!

16 Flowers

It's been a very busy two weeks and I haven't managed to post anything but I added a few flowers each week and start putting my garden together.  I also have a few seeds/petals that are waiting to bloom.

Have a great week!

One Flower Wednesday

I've made three more flowers to add to my garden and just started to joining them together.  I'll be working on my garden tonight as I watch TV - stitching makes TV more interesting...

The block below is a block of the month I joined in February, Little Pink Stars. I made two blocks and then set it aside.  In July I started making hexies and I love it!  Since I didn't 'have fun' making the stars I'm now using the fabric for my garden.
