My daughter wanted to make a quilt.  She has no patience.  Mom won't you make it?  (Quickly).

So here is a quilt I pieced with LOVE for my daughter.

She picked out a quilting pattern and Dan did BEAUTIFUL job!

Dan also quilted it quickly - Thank you

Now she wants quotes on her walls with fabric...

International SiggySwap

I just joined an international siggyswap and received my firsy siggy!  How exciting!!!

hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil

I sent a siggy back and within the week I'll be put on a list with other collectors.  I can't wait for siggys to arrive in the mail.

Mystery Quilt: ???

I've never done a mystery quilt before but Prairie Stitches Quilt Shoppe made it sound so interesting.  In the first session we  needed to pick out fabric (light, dark, and 2 mediums) and were given the beginning steps of the pattern.  The next session is this Saturday and I've managed to cut out some of the fabric and sew a few of the units together but I'm really curious as to how the blocks will be assembled.

Mini Quilt: Windmills

My second - February- mini quilt is finished!  I made a pattern change from flying geese to windmills to show a little more of the colorful fabrics. My daughter liked the Snowball mini quilt better but my husband said he liked the Texas quilt.  It took a minute to figure out what he meant - if you look at Windmills, and use your imagination, it looks like an abstract version of the outline of the state of Texas.  Go figure!
